Tennis is all Jasmine Randazzo has ever known. But when her coach imports British bad boy Alex Russell as her new training partner, will Penny be able to keep her laser-like focus? Penny Harrison, a rising female star, is determined to win the French Open and beat her archrival, Zina Lutrova. In this pressure-cooker environment, futures are forged in blood and sweat, and dreams are shattered in an instant. Nestled along the North Carolina coast, the Outer Banks Tennis Academy is the world’s most elite training facility. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. I received this book for free from Coliloquy in exchange for an honest review. It's definitely one of the best books I've read in a long time, i just wish it didn't end so prematurely and abruptly.Friday, Review: Game.

Unlike most books it actually focused on tennis as well as the character's personal lives whereas as most novels usually on focus on the personal things. Review 2: Loved it! It's so hard to find good novels about tennis but this one hit it on the head. What WOULD happen between her and Teddy? I hope there's a second book coming out, and Jasmine will still be one of the protagoni. I always looked forward to their interactions in the book. The ending was abrupt - I was shocked when I turned to the next page and the paragraph there was informing me I'd reached the end of the story.

I admired her strength not only as a tennis player but also as a human being, and her squabbles with Alex Russell was downright hilarious. But it turned out to be a delightful surprise.I enjoyed Penny's POV the most. I usually find sports - or any physical activity for that matter - quite loathsome, so I wasn't expecting much from this book.

Review 1: Oh! I didn't think I'd enjoy this as much as I did.
